Our native plant nursery and interpretive gardens at Lake Natoma is our newest initiative, reflecting a close partnership with our state park (Folsom Lake SRA), as well as other partners including the California State Parks Foundation and the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the California Native Plant Society.

The mission of our nursery and gardens is to develop, grow and maintain a native plant nursery and public interpretive gardens that serve two purposes:

  1. Public education, including for children, about the importance of native plants and habitats.
  2. To grow healthy native plants for eco-restoration and fire resiliency projects within our state park(s).
