Sharing Our Habitat with Wildlife in a Safe and Healthy Way! Presentation by Michele Dodge
June 14 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
When you think of wildlife habitat, you may be thinking of open, wild spaces. But as we encroach into
open spaces, wildlife that have long used those areas find themselves interacting more and more with
people. Our yards, decks, and other outdoor areas are potential attractants to wildlife and their use of
those areas can lead to unexpected and unintentional consequences. Michele will identify some of the
many hazards we create for wildlife, and focus on becoming more aware of how we can help our wild
friends stay out of danger. She will use real life rescue stories to illustrate the dangers, focusing on actions we can all take to mitigate those threats.
