FOLFAN has a customizable education and outreach exhibit and a team of docents that allow us to engage with park and community event participants of all ages. We can discuss and answer questions about our state park’s many features, provide resource handouts, and chat about FOLFAN programs and events.
We also have a Kids Coloring Station where children not only color their favorite animals, but with the help of a professional illustrator and a naturalist, they also learn about those animals and their habitats.
Eventually FOLFAN hopes to have environmental education camp options where children learn about native plants and habitats, protecting natural resources, and enjoying outdoor recreation opportunities.
